About
AZURE DROPS is an unofficial, SFW fan anthology dedicated to the entire Hydro roster in the game Genshin Impact. Our aim is to celebrate each and every Hydro character, from fan favourites like Childe to newly released characters like Nilou and Candace!All contributors are required to be at least 16 and above at the time of application. A Discord account is also required as communication will take place within our Discord server.🎨 ARTISTS
Artists will be creating original artwork in the form of any of the following:✦ 1 page illustration
✦ 2 page spread
✦ Comics
✦ 2 to 3 spot illustrations as a collab with an assigned writer🔑 MERCH ARTISTS
Merch artists are expected to design at least 2 merch items for the zine, and assignments will be based on a pitching process upon acceptance.🖋️ WRITERS
Writers will be required to create an original piece of fiction with a Hydro user as the main focus with a limit of up to 2,000 words.

💧 What is a zine?
Zines have a long and humble history, but usually refers to a fan anthology (a collection of fanmade, unofficial works such as artwork and written pieces revolving around a certain fandom or theme) these days.💧 What is the theme of this zine?
The zine is looking to feature the following Hydro users:✦ Barbara
✦ Candace
✦ Childe
✦ Kamisato Ayato
✦ Mona
✦ Nilou
✦ Sangonomiya Kokomi
✦ Xingqiu
✦ YelanBoth solo pieces focusing on the individuality of each character as well as pieces exploring platonic friendship between two or more Hydro characters will be included. AUs and headcanons are also welcomed!💧 Will Aether or Lumine be included?
As determined by the response on our Interest Check, Aether and Lumine was be treated as secondary characters in the zine.💧 Will the zine be physical or digital?
Azure Drops will be available as both a digital and physical book, with the option to purchase additional fan merchandise.💧 Will the zine be for profit or for charity?
Azure Drops is for profit. All contributors will receive at minimum a digital copy of the zine. If funds allow, we hope to compensate each contributor with a full bundle with shipping accounted for.After all expenses are accounted for, any leftover profits will be split equally between the mod team and all contributors involved. As such, applicants will require a working PayPal to receive their share of any leftover profits.💧 Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, but do note that if you're accepted, it might only be for one position chosen by the mods! We don't want to overload anyone with extra work!💧 Where will the zine ship from?
